He’s a man that came in from the cold, his age exxagerated by his wanderings. His wizened features make me wonder where he has been and what he has seen. How many nights has he spent on a street bench, the only safety afforded by the burning lamplights above? I marvel at his ability to survive. And were there other nights like tonight when he found some solace and comfort in a welcoming stranger’s tavern.
